Some photos from my favorite time of year.

Philadelphia

I spent a long weekend in Philadelphia at the beginning of the month at a conference for work. Luckily, in addition to the work portion of the trip, we had some time to see the city also. It was a really interesting place, and fun to explore.

San Juan Island, Washington

While we were in Seattle, we drove up to the San Juan Islands, and spent an afternoon on San Juan Island. We had been to Lopez Island a couple of years back, and after visiting the two, I think I preferred the quieter setting of Lopez. San Juan was also pretty though.

Portland, Oregon

These photos were taken on the Portland leg of our trip. The flowers are from the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, and the rest was from our drive along the Columbia River Gorge.

San Francisco and Northern California

We just returned from a vacation out west. Flew in to San Francisco, and drove up to Portland and then Seattle. It was a great trip, very relaxing, and a very beautiful part of the country. One of my favorite parts was probably our drive through the Redwoods.

Sunsets & the 4th

A few shots of recent sunsets near our house. I also tested out the "Fireworks" option on my camera. Some turned out better than others...

Summer in the City

We went to both a Brewer game and Jazz in the Park this week. Two things I haven't done in quite some time, but two things that seem to typify Milwaukee in the summer. It was quite fun.

Raindrops

It rained today, one of those nice, gentle summer rains.

It's summer...

...which means that many a weekend will be spent at my parents along Pewaukee Lake. Good times.

Alicia & Matt's Wedding

My friends Alicia and Matt got married this weekend. We stopped by Zeidler Park in Milwaukee to take some photos before the ceremony, and came across a gazebo with all these objects attached to the railings of it. It was interesting, and a bit bizarre.

Bahamas

In February, Luke had a business trip to the Bahamas. I was able to tag along for a long weekend away from the cold winter. Here are some photos from that trip.
